Backpacker magazine runs a tour every year to connect outdoor enthusiasts, small specialty retailers and gear companies. For the 2018 tour, Ford partnered with Backpacker and asked Ursa Minor to build a pop top camper for the Transit Connect. The van toured for 30,000 miles with Randy Propster at the wheel, visiting stores, participating in hikes and presenting at festivals.
