Ursa Minor ECamper Pop Top Conversion

Ursa Minor launched the ECamper in 2007, and converted Elements into pocket campers ever since. This innovative conversion remains unique in using the existing sunroof to offer access to a loft bed in the pop top and creating standing room. 

Further improvements included adding a rear hatch release and other accessories to create one of the earliest AWD micro campers available in the US. In 2010, we added the ability to convert non-sunroof Elements as wel.

Serial production of the ECamper ended on Dec 31, 2025.  From Jan 1, 2026 on, ECamper conversions are arranged on a custom basis only. 

  • Price varies based on base Element configuration and condition, options and accessories desired and cost of key materials and components
  • All ECamper conversions are done at our Portland, Oregon location.  We are unable to provide a kit for self installation
  • Scheduling depends on shop space and parts availability, but is typically 3 to 6 months lead time.
